Just a quick post, I was doing a bit of sorting in my man cave and came across a photoshoot we had done with the Munster not long after he rescued us. It was just before Christmas about 3 years ago now. He's been through a lot in that time, two TPLO cruciate ligament operations!
Thankfully he's pretty much fully fit now, though we're still taking it a bit easy with off lead walks. The last thing we want is for him to slip and injure himself. He's going away on two holidays this year as well, so some good times to look forward to.
This year saw the launch of a new website I created for a good friend and fellow music fan. He had started on a new stage of his life and was looking to build a new consultancy business based in NHS Finance.
Whilst chatting over a few beers and watching the vastly underrated Ryan Bingham in concert, he told me of his plans and I was happy to offer whatever help I could.
He has since gone on to become very busy with various consultancy roles and had positive feedback on the website, which is great. He now regularly blogs too and really taking to the whole "interweb" thingy!
I was lucky enough to visit Ireland back in May 2015 and visit a very good friend friend of mine Steve.
Whilst there we hiked to the top of the Comeragh Mountains, climbing Mahon Falls and taking in the amazing view.
The Comeragh Mountains are a remarkable and varied range, stretching from the coast near Dungarvan inland as far as Clonmel. The central part of the Comeragh Mountains features a boggy plateau, while the fringe features phenomenally rocky coums filled with a wonderful assortment of little Loughs.
Will be going back this year as well, here's a couple of photos taken whilst enjoying the hike.
